GRETAANDLUCIE are an Italian/French directors duo born from the merge of two souls. They aim to explore the space between cinema and everyday life — turning observation into visual language, as a never ending conversation.
As lovers of time perseption and the changing of seasons, they are now based on the Alps, moving between an island, Milan and Paris.

Greta Maroni

Director / Creative Director.

Born in Milan on November 16, 1995, she was raised in an Italian family of artists. Moving between her city of origin and New York until her adolescence, she developed an extreme passion for observing details and the arts, as well as always finding a way to escape into nature. After a career in literature (Amsterdam) and applied geography (Milan), she decided to pursue her sense of observation through the camera and creative communication. She saw her dream shared and completed when she met her colleague and partner Lucie, got married, and decided to share this journey of living and documenting life together.

Lucie Chaumeil

Director / Assistant Director.

Born in Paris on December 11, 1993, she began painting at a very young age and, since then, has never stopped creating images as her primary means of communication. After completing her bachelor's degree, she began preparing for an artistic diploma in Paris. She then moved to London and enrolled at UAL Camberwell Art College. Afterwards, she returned to Paris and instinctively reconnected with her family roots in cinema, eventually becoming an assistant director. While deepening her knowledge of filmmaking, she began creating her own videos. Her meeting with Greta felt like destiny, as it marked the beginning of a new way of interpreting and expressing the world. This is just the beginning.
